Process

Applications are open all year round. You can apply by sending the documents requested below to: sudecriture@gmail.com.

Requested documents:

• Synopsis
• Director’s statement of intent
• Biography
• Script (or advanced treatment)

Please make sure you attach all documents in one single pdf file titled “title_author’s name”.

Selection Criteria

• Being a citizen of an African or Arab country (diaspora included)
• Being the author of a feature-length fiction film project currently under development
• This project must be the author’s first or second film

Upcoming Edition

The first session of Workshop N°44 will take place in June 2026 and the second in September 2026. Applications are now closed for this edition. Le final selection will be announced mid-April.
